"STAR FEST" celebrates the wonder of science and the beauty of mathematics. By organizing this activity, the Science Teacher Academy for the Regions (STAR) of the DOST-Science Education Institute aims to provide teachers with valuable insights, teaching and learning resources, and networking opportunities. Overall, "STAR FEST" aims to inspire, empower, and equip teachers with the knowledge and skills they need to ignite a passion for STEM subjects among their students, ultimately preparing them for success in the 21st century.

SciChat
Experts and thought leaders in STEM education will engage in a dynamic exchange of ideas. This will be an engaging and lively exchange, where these leaders will share their wealth of experience, insights, and advocacy efforts.

Exhibits
Exhibits featuring educational resources, teaching aids, and technology tools are set up for teachers to explore. This allows educators to discover innovative teaching materials and techniques that they can integrate into their classrooms. In the Science and Mathematics exhibit area, there will be a variety of activities and manipulatives that the teachers can replicate in their schools. There will also be a booth of other teaching and learning resources such as that of DOST-SEI’s storybooks and other innovations.
